Grand Strand wedding planning
I plan and coordinate weddings across the Grand Strand, from Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet to Pawleys Island and Georgetown. What I love most about planning in the Grand Strand is the feeling of a built-in getaway. Whether it’s an oceanfront ceremony with sea breeze or a quiet evening under moss-draped live oaks, celebrations here have an ease and warmth to them. I love helping couples turn their wedding day into a true retreat where their favorite people can slow down, soak in the coast, and just celebrate.

Planning around the coast
Beach, marsh, garden or ballroom: each setting has its own timing, its own rules and its own good ideas. Below you'll find a few venue recommendations from towns I work in, so you can see how a place feels before you choose it.
- The Venue at White Oaks Farm (Longs, SC)
- 21 Main Events at North Beach (North Myrtle Beach, SC)
- Pine Lakes Country Club (Myrtle Beach, SC)
- Marina Inn at Grande Dunes (Myrtle Beach / Waterway)
What to know before you plan here
- Seasons and weather: April–May marks our prime spring season with gorgeous blooms and mild coastal breezes, while October–November brings the sweet spot of fall with lower temperatures, lighter beach tourism, and hassle-free parking. The summer months (June–August) can be trickier due to peak humidity and high heat indexes, making an indoor reception space and plenty of guest hydration essential. For summer ceremonies, I also recommend later evening start times to catch the golden-hour breeze and easily bypass typical afternoon pop-up showers.
- Venues and permits: Saying 'I do' with your toes in the sand is magical, but coastal South Carolina has unique rules to keep our shores beautiful! From North Myrtle Beach’s 24-chair setup limits and vendor licensing requirements to local sound ordinances, dune protection laws, and strict bans on artificial confetti, I handle the permits and red tape so you can focus on the view.
Tip: If you're eyeing a ceremony in the City of Myrtle Beach, let's chat about private oceanfront venues, as commercial setups aren't permitted on their public sands! - Getting around: Booking guest transportation is strongly recommended! While our coastal stretch is gorgeous, it spans over 60 miles, and rideshare availability (like Uber or Lyft) drops significantly late at night around our tucked-away farm estates and private venues. Providing a centralized guest shuttle from your host hotel block ensures everyone arrives on time, avoids paid beach parking meters, and gets home safely after the last dance.
